The two top sales of the month both broke previous all time records. 15512 Floorwood, a 3 bed/2 bath single family with 1,519 square feet sold for an amazing $1.125M after being listed for $900K and would have been an all time record if it weren’t for the other sale at 3760 156th Street that closed at a jaw dropping $1,240,000.

WOW is about the only way we can describe the sale of this smaller single family home in El Camino Village. With the previous two sales of comparable properties (both 3/1 with under 1,1o0 square feet) selling at $750,000 where in the world did this price come from? The home sold $175,000 to close at a jaw dropping $890,000. With interest rates on the rise it will be interesting to see if this is the high water market for a 3 bed 1 bath post war bungalow for quite a while.
The latest home to hit the market in El Camino Village is a beautifully remodeled single family home that is just as nice on the inside as it is from the outside. We don’t anticipate this home being on the market very long. The home features 3 beds, 2 baths and over 1,500 square feet on a great street. We still think that El Camino Village is one of the best places to find a great “Torrance” type neighborhood at a much lower price.

Like everywhere else in the South Bay the number of new listings in the past few months has slowed to a trickle. It’s nice to see a new single family home listing hit the market in El Camino Village This latest addition in the Lawndale portion of El Camino Village is a smaller 3 bed/ 1 bath SFR located at 15506 Gerkin. As Gerkin backs up to the tree tunnel street of Cordary, you get to enjoy the cool tree (and hawks!) without being in the shade all of the time. The home is fairly original but seems to be in good condition and has the additon of air conditioning and and newer electric panel. The outdoor areas are great with a grassy back yard and covered side patio.
