The average “list” price for the month was $881,000 with the aveerage sales price being $908,667 meaning that homes generally sold higher than the list price. The average price per foot was a very impressive $806 and homes averaage only 10 days on the market before going into pending status.

This home was pretty special…….but wow what a sales price.  We’re actually a bit less surprised at this number given the size and upgrades compared with some other recent record breakers.  3760 w 156th was a corner lot single family home that was significantly larger than it would appear from the street.  Offering 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with over 1,800 square feet, the home was extensively updated, remodeled and expanded and barely resembled the original 1952 beach bungalow.

15512 Florwood Ave Lawndale – Listed for $899,999 and Sold for $1,125,000

This home sale would have broken the all time record for a single family home in El Camino Village if it weren’t for another April sale closing over $1.2M.  15512 Florwood was a beautifully remodeled single family that was just as nice on the inside as it is from the outside.   The home featured 3 beds, 2 baths and over 1,500 square feet on a great street.  Even though it was a great house we certainly didn’t anticipate it close for $225,000 over the list price!  What a time to be a home seller
