Gardena is one of the larger cities in the South Bay and one of the more affordable areas. There were almost 400 on market home sales in 2018 with an average price of $526,809. From a real estate perspective Gardena is broken into the neighborhoods of Hollypark, McCarthy and El Camino Village (there is also a Lawndale section of EC Village). The city has a number of new and newer construction small complexes in various areas that are a popular alternative for buyers priced out of some other areas.
